About FAAC

Established in 1968, the Friendship Advice-Action Council (FAAC) stands as a distinguished Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to empowering the rehabilitation groups, young individuals, and children within our society. Our mission is to provide tailored services that enhance the sense of competence for individuals and families, while actively fostering a community of care by connecting social resources.

At FAAC, our multifaceted approach encompasses education, healthcare and social enterprise initiatives. With a presence across two service units throughout the territory, our team of over 150 dedicated staff members ensures comprehensive support and assistance. Notably, FAAC has earned recognition as one of the top 30 largest registered non-government organizations in Hong Kong, as affirmed by the Social Welfare Department's annual subventions for 2021 to 2022. Last year alone, we proudly served over half a million individuals, exemplifying our commitment to making a meaningful impact within our community.

Ways We Help

FAAC empowers rehabilitation groups with specialized interventions for holistic well-being while guiding young individuals through mentorship and educational opportunities. We focus on skill-building, independence, and inclusive support, fostering resilience and confidence for both groups.
